By clicking the mouse you can adjust the rocket's going, and collect space points. Watch out the wall and plan your course in continuously tapering caves!

If you are a registered user of Playray and have logged in with your nickname, you can start playing right away.

In case you haven't registered yet, the game will assign you a random visitor nickname. A wavy line (~) will appear automatically before your name in order to inform other players that you are not a registered player. By this we make sure that your nickname won't be confused with those of registered users. If you want to register your own nickname, you can do it here for free.

The game can be played in four different ways. With a light spaceship, with a heavy spaceship, with both at the same time, or with a space glider. The last two ways are accessible to registered members only. When you move mouse onto one of these options, the names of the 10 all-time best players will be displayed on the screen. If you hold the mouse pointer on the button a little longer, lists displaying the 10 best players of the month, the week, and the day will be shown. Click the button to start the game.

Before starting to play you can change the level of the graphics of the game from the menu in the bottom left corner of the screen. "Normal" is the default setting. The "Quick" setting displays only the most essential elements on the screen. The game does not look as good as with the other settings, but works on slower computers as well. The "Beautiful" setting employs some additional graphic elements that make the game look nicer but require an effective computer.

At leat three players must be present in the room to play this game. If there are less players, you must wait until more players arrive. Your spaceship or space glider moves all the time at a steady speed to the right and you can not influence this. It is not possible to stop, accelerate or slow down the ship. The ship also falls slightly downwards all the time, due to the gravity. You can activate the rockets of the ship by holding the mouse button and stop them by releasing the button. When the rockets are active, the spaceship ascends. The purpose of the game is to avoid crashing into the walls of the caves. Once you touch a wall, you will ose one spaceship and you will have to start the level from beginning. After you have lost three vessels, the game is over. The caves become more and more difficult and narrow as the game proceeds, which makes flying more difficult.

After the game has ended, you can return to the starting menu by pressing any button.

Playing is very easy: all you need is one mouse button or one key from the keyboard. Only when you play with two spaceships at the same time you will need two buttons:

Left mouse button or spacebar: Accelerates the spaceship on the left.

Right mouse button or Enter: Accelerates the spaceship on the right.

The "P" button allows you to pause the game. You can continue by pressing the "P" button again.

The longer you fly the ships, the more points you will get. In other words, the number of points grows steadily as you play. Also, some bonus objects will be flying in the caves and you will be able to get extra points by collecting them:

• Bluish green ball: 50 points
• Green ball: 100 points
• Yellow ball: 200 points
• Red ball: 500 points
• Rotating star: No extra points but you will get a new spaceship

During the game, the following information will be displayed at the top of the screen:

You can quit the game and return to the front page of Playray by clicking the Quit-button in the bottom right corner of the starting menu.
