LOBBY

After logging in, you enter the lobby. In the lobby you can see the all time best, this month's best, this week's and today's best results. If you are registered, you will see your personal best under these results.

Under the best results are four buttons, one for each level of difficulty. When you move your mouse over one of the buttons, the best results of the current difficulty level are shown. By clicking the button you can start the current difficulty level.
By clicking the Exit-button, you can return to Playray Home Page.

PLAYING

The objective of the game is to prevent gnats coming from the top of the page to the bottom of the pane. Gnats follow the road in the gaming area. Gnats can be destroyed by building defence constructions to the road and next to it.

Top of the starboard of the screen is shown the level you are at, and how much time is remaining before the next group of gnats will arrive. In addition, below is shown the amount of points, money and lives you have. Always when a gnat enters the bottom of the screen, you loose one life. The game ends ones you have no lives left.

BUILDING AND RESEARCHING

In the middle of the starboard side there is a building and construction menu. You can move between the two by clicking Build or Research buttons. Both building and researching requires money. Buildings cannot be built and researching cannot be started without sufficient money. More money will be received by killing the gnats.

In the building menu there are eight different buildings. You can choose the one you want by clicking it. By clicking the chosen building you will see a description of the building.s function. After this you can simply choose a place for the chosen building from the gaming area. The loop floating around the building tells how far the building is able to shoot. Once you have chosen a place to the building the construction of it starts. When the building is ready, it starts immediately shooting the gnats within its range.

Note that all the buildings are not available straight away; some of them need to be researched first. Move to the research menu and choose a building you want to be researched. Please not also that research takes rather long time and only one research work can be done at a time.

IMPROVING AND SELLING THE BUILDINGS

You don't always need to build new buildings to improve your defence. You can also improve the existing buildings. Click on one of your ready buildings, and you.ll see a menu in the right hand side, where you can make changes to the building.

By choosing Upgrade building you can change the building eg. to be more powerful, faster or capable to shoot further distances. Available improvements depend on the type of the building. Also improving the buildings takes time. While the building is under improvements, it's not capable of shooting gnats.

By choosing Choose target to shoot you can choose which of the gnats the building shoots. Normally all the buildings shoot the gnat that has managed to get furthest, but here you can choose a building to always shoot for instance the weakest or strongest gnat.

If you feel you no longer need one of the buildings, you can sell it by clicking Sell button. You will get back part of the money you spent on it. You can also sell a building already during its construction period.

POINTS

You get as many points from a killed gnat as is the level of the game. In addition to this, if the last killing hit is made by an arrow from the arrowtower, you get an extra point. Apposed to that, if the last hit is made by a racket, you will earn one point less.

Examples:
Destroying a gnat in the level 4 with cannon: 4 points
Destroying a gnat in the level 1 with arrowtower: 2 points
Destroying a gnat in the level 20 with racket: 19 points
